This breathwork is an active meditation that directly guides you to where you’re holding fear, anxiety, trauma, or other stuck emotion in your body – creating a pathway to emotional freedom. These sessions are powerful and help you shift quickly. They are not relaxing, like the breathwork in yoga class. It’s called breathwork for a reason. We’ll spend a few minutes grounding and creating a safe container before opening up to the bigger work. Be somewhere you can lie down, have a blanket nearby and an eye cover if you prefer. Have a pillow, not for your head, but to yell into. Yes, we will yell. To clear our throats and allow energy to move. Having the pillow to yell into helps you feel less worried about anyone nearby. We will have a few minutes to integrate at the end but even better is for you to have a few minutes after we close to be with yourself and notice what comes up.
