Dr. Safahieh received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Following medical school, he completed his adult psychiatry residency and child & adolescent fellowship at UC Irvine. Dr. Safahieh graduated with the highest of honors with a BBA in Business Management from the University of Texas at Austin. He has board certifications from both the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology – Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology – Psychiatry. He is currently the medical director of the ASPIRE program at Newport Beach Hoag and Irvine Hoag Hospitals.
