Dr. Kwak received her medical degree from Albany Medical College. She then moved to Los Angeles where she completed both her internship and residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospital. She then completed her fellowship at UC Irvine Medical Center where she focused on endocrinology. Dr. Kwak is certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has now been practicing for 11 years and has earned the Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctors Award.
