Dr. Moazzaz received his medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. He continued his career interning at UCLA for General Surgery, where he also completed his Residency in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Moazzaz completed his fellowship at The San Diego Spine Fellowship, San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders, and Scripps Green Clinic. He now specializes in orthopedic spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, and spinal deformity. He was one of the first physicians to perform robotic spine surgery and one of the first to use a second-generation robotic spine surgery platform called Mazor X. Dr. Moazzaz has been practicing for 14 years and is affiliated with Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and Tri-City Medical Center.
