Nick Gore is the owner and founder of Gore’s Core Fitness. His love for personal training started with a lot of pain. He suffered a lower back injury while wrestling in college and then underwent surgery for two herniated discs (L4-L5 and L5-S1). Once he recovered, he dedicated himself to learning as much as possible about strengthening his core and making sure he stayed healthy and pain free. Nick’s passion turned into a career. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from San Francisco State University and spent 7 years as a certified personal trainer in SF before moving to NYC in 2013.
Now, his goal is to teach and coach others in physical fitness. Nick’s techniques and background can help you on an individual basis in fitness, health and overall well-being. He specializes in strength training, resistance and endurance training, weight loss or weight management, toning through lean muscle burning and building, core stability and strengthening, and of course, lower back pain.
His background and enthusiasm sets him apart from other personal trainers in NYC. Nick’s coaching is in a personal way, catering the sessions to your fitness goals. Nick insists on individual training sessions so that he can truly consider your lifestyle needs, diet, health and stress conditions. He is also constantly learning and keeping up to date on health and fitness trends.
Nick wants to make fitness fun. He will motivate you to go beyond what you think is possible. He trains at professional gyms throughout New York City, with numerous locations and a flexible schedule. Nick is also able to train outdoors, inside your own home, or any other location that suits you. He can also help design & build your own personal in-home gym in NYC.
