Dr. Anshel graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1975. After being raised in Chicago, Dr. Anshel shipped off and was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from 1975-1977 in San Diego. The following year he opened his first practice and has been working at helping patients with their vision ever since. Dr. Anshel has published several books including “Healthy Eyes, Better Vision; Everyday Eye care for the Whole Family” and “Smart Medicine for Your Eyes.”
