Dr. Hartman received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina College of Medicine and specializes in shoulder, elbow, and hand surgery. He completed an extra year of Fellowship training in upper extremity surgery at UCSD. Dr. Hartman frequently travels nationally to collaborate and train other orthopaedic surgeons in operative techniques, particularly shoulder replacement surgery. His hospital affiliations include Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, Tri-City Medical Center, and several others in the Greater San Diego Area. He has 21 years of experience and is board certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, and The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Hand Surgery.
