Dr. Chung attended the University of California Davis where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. In 1992, he obtained his Medical Doctorate (MD) from Tufts Medical School in Boston, MA. After completing an Internship and a Residency in Internal Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, he proudly served as a Field Surgeon and Captain in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Kuwait and Iraq. He received his board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Echocardiography and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
